Greetings from Ulm

Today was my day off, so I got a chance to actually sleep. I woke up around 9am and longed around until 11. I took a shower, and then quickly logged on to see what was in the area. I took a walk hoping to see the munster (church) and find some lunch. The munster was quite nice - it was huge and really gothic! I took a few pictures outside and around the town - the weather was brisk and sunny.

I went into the church, as walked around. It was HUGE, but I didn't take any pictures as I didn't see anyone doing it, and I wasn't sure if it was allowed. I may go back, and try again if I get a chance during the week. When I walked out of the church, I couldn't believe it - the sky has closed over, the sun disappeared, and the heavens started to downpour incredibly. Combined with the cold, it was quite miserable!

I walked around in the rain, and found a Donher Kabap shop. It was great and garlicky and of course I had another Schwip Schwap to go with it. The rain continued, and I beelined it to the hotel. Sigh, I wish I could have walked around a little more but the cold was a little much. Of course I got back to the hotel and it stopped raining - geezuz.

I took a nap and here I am. Going back to work tomorrow for another long week. I will be happy to go home.
