Tarts

Apparently I was a good boy and Santa (err Serdic) brought me some butter tarts. Only a few remain, and I'm holding onto them for coffee tomorrow. I must say, they are mighty tasty and the raisins are a great add (I could even do with more)!

I went to see my house as part of an initial trim inspection. This is purely to see that all the upgrades we purchased are in fact installed and/or installing. Things look good, and it's all coming together fairly well. We have a lot of painting ahead of us (everything is white so it looks very sparse).

I've started using Google calendar to see how it fits into my 'way of doing things'. A few nice things is that I can setup the calendar to send me an SMS to my phone (with details) on events/meetings. Since getting SMSs are free (sending is not), it's a nice add. Now I don't have to use my phone as input, nor sync it somehow to a computer. I have a dumb terminal in my pocket and the Gcal sends out my notifications. I've even tried to share with others, to see how that works out. Should be interesting.
